Asian Mortals refer to the numerous human characters across all the Asian mythologies who have played an important role within their own mythological systems. These characters can be both benevolent and malevolent in nature and tend to be humans with extraordinary powers or abilities gifted by the gods.

Many of the characters have different versions within the various different mythologies in the region is also unique as it covers so many different cultures and transcends borders. It also signifies the ties across cultures that have existed from ancient times in the region and the cross cultural references also show that these heroes could be people and personalities that were admired across the region.
