Ghosts refer to the list of supernatural creatures that form an important part of the legends, myths and folklore of many cultures and traditions from around the world. They also have an important role in the overall mythology as they tend to be cursed or appointed by the gods to complete a certain action. Only after the completion will they be released from their current form.

They differ from our regular understanding of ghosts as they are not the souls of all the people who have died. They are actually individuals themselves who fall under a certain class at times but also can be a collective name for a group of ghosts who have a specific duty to conduct.
