Celtic Gods

Celtic Gods are a huge component of the European divine pantheon. The Celtic people had their own set of gods, demons, monsters, heroes, mortals and mythical beings that formed the foundations of their belief system and traditions.

They were worshipped and honoured in the erstwhile Celtic region which is modern day Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Isle of Man, and Cornwall. In many parts of these places, the former mythology and its gods still hold a special place in their traditions and festivals.

Although almost decimated by the introduction of Christianity and the absolute power veiled by the Church of England, some families continue with the centuries old traditions of their ancestors.
