Write for Mythlok
Mythlok is a curated digital publication dedicated to mythology, folklore, ancient cultures, and symbolic traditions from around the world. Our goal is to explore myth not merely as stories, but as cultural memory, philosophical insight, and living tradition.
Over the years, Mythlok has grown through the work of dedicated researchers, writers, and mythology enthusiasts who share a deep respect for the subject. We are now opening a carefully moderated contributor section that allows members of our community to share their knowledge, perspectives, and research with our readers.
This initiative is designed to create a space where thoughtful voices can contribute to the global conversation around myth, culture, and history while maintaining the editorial standards that define Mythlok.
Submission Guidelines
To maintain the quality, credibility, and editorial integrity of Mythlok, please ensure your submission meets the following criteria.
Content Standards
Articles submitted to Mythlok must demonstrate clarity, depth, and respect for cultural traditions.
Submissions should be between 800 and 1000 words and must be well researched, fact-driven, or thoughtful opinion pieces that add meaningful value to the subject being discussed.
We do not accept random thought pieces, speculative narratives, or conspiracy-style interpretations of mythology. Mythlok focuses on responsible storytelling and informed discussion.
All submissions must be originally written by the author. AI-generated articles are not accepted. Plagiarised material or content that has previously appeared elsewhere — including personal blogs, LinkedIn articles, or other websites — will be rejected.
Articles must also remain editorial in tone. We do not publish promotional material, advertising content, backlinks, brand mentions, or embedded links within contributor submissions.
Submission Requirements
To ensure consistency across the Mythlok platform, every submission must include the following materials along with the article.
A featured image (500 x 500 px) that represents the subject of the article.
An author photograph (500 x 500 px).
A short author bio of approximately 50 words introducing the contributor.
A LinkedIn profile link so readers can learn more about the author’s background and work.
Editorial Review
All submissions are reviewed by the Mythlok editorial team before publication.
During this process, articles may be edited for clarity, tone, structure, or factual accuracy to ensure they align with Mythlok’s voice and editorial standards. Not all submissions will be approved for publication.
Mythlok reserves the right to approve, edit, or reject any article without providing an explanation. Our priority is maintaining the long-term credibility and quality of the platform.
Our Vision for Contributors
The Mythlok contributor section is being built carefully and intentionally. We are not aiming for volume but for meaningful voices that add depth to the study and appreciation of mythology.
