Originally named Cao Yi, with the courtesy name Jingxiu, he acquired the title “Guojiu” upon his sister’s ascent to the role of Empress Dowager of the Song Dynasty. Later revelations unveil him as the Immortal who originally sealed Bai Tza, The Water Demon, using the same gourd eventually employed by Uncle to seal her away permanently.
